There are hundreds of interesting old villages to explore and on the way to them you will see the sunflowers (girasole), which will be facing one way in the morning when you leave your villa to go on an excursion, and facing in the opposite direction in the evening when you return.
You can shop till you drop in the city of Florence and in Pisa there are also many shops to wander around. If you aren’t into shopping then you can relax and watch the world go by in a mediaeval town square and people-watch while basking in the warm Tuscan sun.
